Weekend Round Up
The Senior Hurlers played down in the Bogies this morning against Finbarr’s and made it 2/2 wins in the league with a 0-15 to 1-09 win. Ronan O’Brioin with another great game in midfield helped Plunketts see the game out with a 3pt win.
Our Junior Hurlers got their league campaign underway at home today vs Clontarf and ran out convincing winners 4-16 to 2-08. The team dominated throughout and another notable performance from Joe Mc in goals with a peno save and 4 goals the other end courtesy of Tadhg Browne x2, Bernard Brogan and Eimhin Walsh. Well done to Donie Byrne and his mgmt team.
The Minor footballers were beaten at home this morning vs Na Fianna, losing 0-12 to 1-13 in a tight game.
On the ladies side, the Minor Camogie Division 1 team got their league off to a great start beating Mearnogs 1-07 to 0-03. The two minor ladies football teams were also in action. The Minor B beating O’Dwyers but unfortunately the Minor A’s were beaten by Finians.
The U16s had a great win in their football league vs. Skerries. The U15 football boys battled against strong winds in first half to come back and win against St Anne's. Unfortunately the U14 boys were beaten by a strong St. Peters team in div 3 football league game. While we had good wins for both U13 boys teams in football, at home against Naomh Mearnog in div 2 grading and Ballyboden in div 10 grading. Both A and B U11 teams beat 2 strong Scoil Ui Chonaill teams after a mid week training session from Maura Ryan! With a great week for the U12 boys. Team 1 in hurling A grading won against Raheny. Team 2 in hurling E grading won against St Vincent's. Our U9 boys had their first hurling game of the year away to Whitehall Colmcille with great performances by all. The U13 camogie team had a good win v Cuala in div 2 league.

On the Dublin side of things, Conor Tyrrell was part of the Dublin U20s win over Laois on Friday evening to win the Leinster Final. Today it was the turn of the ladies. Unfortunately the premier Dublin Camogie team were beaten by a goal against Limerick. Aisling Carolan scoring 2pts. The intermediate Dublin team were successful this afternoon in Broombridge beating Laois convincingly.
