Seachtain na Gaeilge

 

Last week, it was announced that Caoimhe NiMhaolagain was coming on board the Club Executive for 2020 and Culture & Irish officer. Beidh Seachtain na Gaeilge ar siúl ón 1ú Márta go dtí 17ú Márta. We would urge everyone to use your cúpla focal as best you can during this time. There will be some events taking place in around the club during Seachtain na Gaeilge. More information on activities in next weeks Nuacht Litir.

Fixtures

 

Last week's storm Denis banished all hopes of getting the football up and running. This week it's the turn of the adult hurlers and minor footballers qand it's not too promising! UPDATE; the Senior Hurlers resume under the same mgmt team and take on St. Judes at 10.30am with the game relocated to Broombridge. The Junior Hurlers are now off. 

 

The minor footballers play Lucan away at 11am TBC.

 

 

 

 

Membership

Local School Games

 

The final hurdle awaits for our Plunketts players and their St Dominic's school mates. They play in the Tesco Ireland Schools Group C All Ireland Camogie Final tomorrow (Saturday, 4PM at Breffni Park Cavan (all weather pitch). A brilliant example of talent from the Dublin 7&15 areas. Best wishes to all the ladies. 

 

 

Fundraiser

 

The next fundraiser is the Junior B Table Quiz on Friday 21st February (tonight). Everyone welcome. There are two tickets for Newcastle Vs. Liverpool in the last game of the season up for grabs! 

 

 

Dublin Matches

 

Best of luck to Cian Boland and Sean Bugler this weekend as Dublin play Wexford in hurling followed by Donegal in the football in this Croke Park double header. 

 

 

Féile Race Night 2020

 

The Féile Race Night for 2020 has been set for Sunday 5th April. any teams or individuals looking to sponsor a race, buy a horse or place an advert in the programme please contact Iggy on 087 695 0965 for more details. All support is very welcome.  

 

 

 

Award 1 Coaching Course

 

Great to see so many of our coaches being put through their paces last night at the Award 1 Coaching course. Massive thanks to @behan_s for the excellent presentation on physical fitness, fundamental movement skills & an intro to running mechanics for children. Well done to all.
