Senior Football

Our footballers took on St Jude's Wednesday evening in Parnell Park with the match ending in a draw. Final score Plunketts 1-09 St Judes 2-06. Plunketts scorers: Bernard Brogan 1-05, Sean Bugler 0-02, Adam Keating & Niall Walsh 0-01 each.

Junior Hurling

the lads lost their opening game away to Vincents last Sunday.

Juvenile Football

Our under 11 boys welcomed a big squad from Naas Saturday morning to play 3 hurling matches. they had a big squad, 3 good games, SOPER coming out on top in two of them.

Our under 13 boys played Skerries in a division 3 football grading match. Leading at half time, a good team performance saw our lads finish with a convincing win.

Our under 16 boys were away to St Peregrine's in a division 3 football match. In what can only be described as an intense game our lads won by a point despite a late score, by St Peregrine's.

Ladies Football

Last Monday, our Minor A Ladies maintained their winning ways against a very good Garristown team and are now outright leaders at the top of the league with 4 out 4 wins. Our Minor B team also had an impressive performance before going down to Cuala.


Here is a look at all adult fixtures for the next 7 days. It's a busy week for lots of teams with evening games back in action. Best wishes to the three adult teams starting their Championship campaigns all with tough first round games.

Table Quiz - (Tonight) 12th April at 9pm in the Clubhouse. This Table quiz is to support Mark Higgins and fellow member of An Garda Siochana in Ballymun Station. They are running a number of fund-raisers for three charities; Aware, Pieta House and the National Rehab Hospital. One of their colleagues died by suicide in their station last year and as a result they have become involved with these charities. Pat Brennan will be in situ on the night firing out the questions. Tables of 4 and it takes place on Friday 12th April. All support very welcome.
