A Bumper Edition!

Membership Reminder

Over 65% of memberships have now been paid in full or by installments. Thank you to everyone who took the time to pay in full or register for the monthly installments option for Membership this year. Those yet to pay need to pay in full by 30th March 2019.

To satisfy GDPR regulations memberships must be paid online with the only exception being those members who pay into the weekly lotto by direst debit. The club has a very simple rule: No Pay, No Play, No Use of Facilities including GYM.

Healthy Clubs - Stress Buster in association with AWARE


St. Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh GAA Club in partnership with Aware are running a 6 week life skills course aimed at teaching people how to better manage the stress of everyday life. It will take place in Plunketts lounge on Thursday’s from 7-8.30pm starting on 14th March. It is open to anyone over 18. To register go to

While the course is free, a deposit of €30 is required to register. This will be refunded on completion of the course. The course is particularly suited to those who, due to the nature of their lives, are prone to being under pressure or feeling stressed. Participants will be guided by trained facilitators to reduce stress and feel better by thinking and doing things differently.

This is one not to be missed so register early as places are limited to *30 people* and will be granted on a first come first served basis.

The OPW would like to welcome the members of St. Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh to Farmleigh House in the Phoenix Park to help us celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge 2019.

Céard: Bilingual Seachachaí Storytelling Session

Costas: Saor in aisce. Free of charge.

Our Seachachaí Seó will intrigue adults and children alike with his bilingual tales. Seosamh tells stories in English and in Irish. He tells all kinds of tales – funny stories, Irish and international folk tales, anecdotes and rhymes. He might even sing a song or two!

There will be a bilingual guided tour of the house at 12.30 pm, again free of charge.

The 2019 Daffodil Day Quiz

This quiz is for the Irish Cancer Society. This is the 10th year in a row that Tommy O’ Friel and Pat Brennan have held this ever popular quiz.

All the proceeds on the night go to the Irish Cancer Society which is a very worthy cause and coincides with Daffodil Day. Cancer unfortunately is experienced in almost every family and the Irish Cancer Society do fantastic work. However, they depend on volunteers and charitable donations from kind-hearted people to keep going. By supporting this Table Quiz, is one way of helping. It is always a very enjoyable night. Delighted if you could take part in this table quiz.
