Wild Geese
Fri, 02 Feb 2018
The Wild Geese that come to the pitches most mornings to feed will shortly be making the long journey north to their breeding grounds in Greenland and northern Canada.  These magnificent Birds cover distance of between 1,600 and 3,500 miles in their Spring migration to breed.  The Club appeals to all Dog owners to refrain from allowing their pets off the leash to frighten and worry the Geese whilst walking at Martin Savage Park.  Your cooperation in this respect would be much appreciated.
