Senior Football Championship 1st Round

Thursday 20th April

This Thursday our Senior Footballers take on Ballyboden St Endas in Parnell Park in the first round of the 2017 Dublin Senior Football Championship with throw in at 8.15pm.

Please spread the word, as a big turnout in support of the team would be appreciated!

We have arranged a double deck bus to bring people to and from Parnell Park. It will leave from the terminus at Ashington at 7pm and will return after the game at 9.30pm. It will operate on a first come, first served basis.


Tuesday 18th April

Senior A Camogie league Match v Raheny away in St Annes Park with throw in at 6.45pm

Sunday 23rd April
Our Minor Hurlers play Naomh Mearnog at home in Martin Savage Park with throw in at 11.00am.

This week is the first round of the Adult Football Championships so a big week for all our teams

Our Junior A footballers play Ballinteer St John in the first round of the Junior B Football Championship away in Marley Park with throw in at 11.00am.

Our Junior B footballers play Naomh Barrog in the first round of the Junior D Football Championship at home in Martin Savage Park with throw in at 3.00pm.

Please come along to support the teams!

Feile Race Night

Thanks to all those who supported our Race Night last Thursday, either by buying horses, taking an ad in the race program, sponsoring a race, donating a spot prize or coming along on the night. A great evening was had by all.

This weekend the girls Camogie feile takes place. Plunketts are playing in Division Three in a group with Crumlin, Whitehall and the hosts Naomh Olaf.

The first game throws in at 11.10am, so please drop out to support the girlss in Stillorgan, where the games will be played
Dublin U21

Congratulations to Dublin's under-21 footballers who had a great win over Donegal last Saturday in the EirGrid All-Ireland U21 Championship semi-final.

They now progress to face Galway in the All Ireland U21 Final on Saturday 29th April

A Date for your Diary

Pieta House are holding their annual Darkness into Light Walk on Saturday, 6th of May 2017 in the Phoenix Park.

We will meet in the Park and intend to walk as a club and will come back afterwards to Plunketts.

Our "Have a Ball Nursery" is on this Saturday for boys and girls. The times for the various ages are below:

9.00-9.35am  boys and girls born in 2012 & 2013
9.45-10.25am boys and girls born in 2011
10.30-11.20am boys and girls born in 2010

Volunteers Required

Hurls & Helmets

The U8 & U9's are looking for donations from any members who have Hurling helmets or hurls that their kids have grow our of. So if you have any 26", 28" or 30" hurls in good nick please leave them in the shop on Saturday morning or email and we will arrange to collect.
