We need you!! To join the Plunketts Health & Wellbeing team
Thu, 06 Apr 2017

Recently Trish Maher agreed to be the club Health and Wellbeing Officer. Since then Trish has attended a number of training and awareness sessions for clubs.

At a national level, the GAA Community & Health Department aims to ensure that the health and wellbeing of members, clubs, and communities is at the core of all GAA activity. This is achieved by providing all units and members of the Association with access to appropriate support and information and enabling them to develop and maintain their optimum health.

The Club is where all other building blocks can come together to foster an inclusive and respectful culture and environment that promotes health throughout the lifelong participation of our members.

We already have some initiatives that contribute to this goal, but we would like to coordinate our activities.  None of this can be done by just one person.  Trish is looking for people from all sections of the club to bring this to life in Plunketts. If this is of interest to you, can you contact Trish on 086-1996358.
Thank you
