The Plunketts Cycling Club have organised a second fundraiser for Brother Kevin and the Capuchin Day Centre. Thirteen of the Plunkett’s Cycling Club are taking part in a charity 300 km cycle over 2 days (7 & 8 June). The event is a YOGA session on Saturday, 1st of June in Inspire Gym on the Navan Road from 10am to 12pm. The session will be run by Paul Fleming and is open to all. The club's social & fundraising committee are hosting a 7-a-side football fundraiser on 21st June (Friday evening) - SOPER Summer Super 7's! During the matches, there will be a summer barbecue, DJ Joe Mc will be on the decks and there'll be live music after with John Hynes upstairs in the bar afterwards. The games are scheduled to start at 7pm sharp. Now here's the catch, this is a fun night open to all so the teams will be mixed ability! The format will be 5 male & 2 female

The club extends its deepest sympathy to Paddy McKeon, Edel O'Brien, Siobhan McDonnell and all of the extended McKeon family on the death of their father Jim. Every Sunday morning at 8.30am the Plunketts Cycling Group meet at the Farmleigh Gate in the Phoenix Park. From this week there will be two groups taking to the road; the leisure cyclists (50km) and the more seasoned group (80+ km). No helmet, no cycle.
